Merry Christmas

‎”The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel–which means, God with us.”

Have you noticed that some people can run around with absolute chaos all around them but still stay in joy and peace while others could be stressed out at a meditation retreat?

Despite Santa showing clear signs of dementia and memory loss (He left me coal again!) I’m feeling very grateful this morning. ♥ ♥ We had a family gathering yesterday and today we plan to have a quiet day relaxing, reflecting and enjoying life. I’m thankful to not be in the hospital. Whenever I look at my stomach, I see a beautiful peace sign scar that is underlined with another scar and I recognize that God has the power to heal. And to bless. I’m thankful for my friends. I’m thankful for my dear family. I’m thankful for my husband. I’m thankful for food and shelter. I’m thankful my writing is going okay.

If you listen to all the political/religious/social news, one would get the impression that society is in utter shambles (and maybe it is) but I’ve seen miracles and I know that He can turn night into day, make plants bloom in the desert, turn relationships and bad situations around.

“Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.”

About Jessica Trapp

When I become Evil Queen of the Galaxy, exercise will be fun, afternoon naps will be mandatory, and laundry will be illegal. In the meantime I write medieval novels with alpha heros and defiant heroines. I love romance, castles and books.
