  • As you can tell this is a fine pickle of a story and I probably haven’t done it justice. However if you like medievals. Strong characters, silly situations, bondage and a lot of hot sex…I recommend this book. Actually I highly, highly, highly recommend this book. I know that many of you will enjoy it.

  • What a great book! I read over 1000 romance books over time, mostly Historical and Paranormal romance, so sometimes it is hard for me to find a good book to read. I read good ones and not so good ones. I got this book free as most of my books from Amazon (sometimes u get good books for free). This will be a keeper. Well done! Give it a try — u will love it. I will read more books from this author.

  • Well, other reviews have made comments about this book that are factual but not entirely accurate if that makes sense. The hero and heroine are not fluffy and shiny…nope they are dark and brooding and they get thrown for a loop with each other over and over. They get a HEA, but it takes a lot of time, and I think that Brenna deserved happiness but so did James. They got it but again it took time. I think you will either love or hate this book. I loved it.

  • This is a book to be put into the “Can’t Put It Down” category. Jessica Trapp did a wonderful job of creating a world of adventure with plenty of intrigue! I was always wondering, “What next?” “What’s he going to do now?” “Why did he do THAT?”

    The heat between James and Brenna was scorching. She just couldn’t help herself when she was around him and he was having trouble controlling himself, too! The intimacy was tastefully done and not at all mundane! Plenty of options for this couple! 🙂

    Brenna was caring and loyal towards those she loved and gave them chance after chance to redeem themselves. It made you love her and accept her flaws, and she did have a few. I loved how she wasn’t perfect physically, which made her a more believable character.

    James…well…you’ll have to see about him. At first, you’ll love to hate him, but as the story unfolds, you begin to understand what is the force that drives his actions.

    If you want adventure, romance and a fast-paced storyline, this book is for you. I loved it!
