Hi there, I’m Jessica
I believe every castle has a story, every wildflower has a secret, and every heart deserves a happy ending.
Medieval romance author, dog lover and nature enthusiast
I am an internationally published, award-winning author whose lush and sensual medieval romances have captivated readers around the globe. With a unique blend of historical authenticity and evocative storytelling, I weave tales that unlock the passions and struggles of a bygone era.
As a lover of castles and nature alike, I find inspiration wandering among wildflowers and ancient ruins, often accompanied by my faithful canine companions. My medical knowledge and potion-making skills bring a touch of real-world magic to the healing themes in my novels, blending the mystical with the practical.
Passionate about the delicate balance between men and women, I use my writing to challenge unjust norms and envision a world where kindness and strength walk hand in hand, particularly through captivating, kind yet dominant heroes, who grace my pages.
When I’m not crafting stories of love and rebellion, I can be found cooking up something fragrant, nurturing my garden, or exploring hidden pathways where history and wildlife entwine. I love birds, bees, butterflies, and ladybugs.

Dogs Make Good Company
They are perfect listeners and keep all your secrets.
I have always had dogs. Small, large, and medium sized. They are always happy to see me and provide emotional comfort. Petting a dog can relieve stress and increase oxytocin, a hormone associated with bonding and relaxation.
When my husband came home after surgery, Trooper kept bringing him toys even though it was clear the dog was uninterested in playing. We couldn’t figure it out at first, then realized he was bringing my husband things that made him happy hoping they would make my husband feel better. Trooper realized my husband wasn’t felling well and was empathetically wanting to help.
I walk more because the dogs need to be walked, so that helps me stay healthier. Feeding, walking, playing, and training create a daily structure and have kept me grounded through some really dark times.
Dogs don’t gossip. My secrets are safe. They make good therapists when I need someone to talk to or someone to snuggle with. They are good writing companions.
